Snowgirl Sally & Sledding

Jenny was also off yesterday so we decided we would relive our childhood by building a snowman and going sledding. I can’t really remember the last time I did either. I have some pictures from Jr. year in High School and that might be the last time. We bundled up and looked like hoodlums but hey it kept us warm. Meet our Snowgirl Sally…..

Sally is sick of the snow and ready for summer

After a couple hours we created this masterpiece if you can call it that. My brother says she looks like a prostitute. Maybe just a tad….We had such a good time and I guess you can say you are never too old to play in the snow! Heather joined us after work to go sledding. We grabbed a couple of sleds from our parent’s houses (probably time to invest in our own) and headed to Jardine Hill. When you're younger that hill looks a lot bigger but it was still fun!

Happy National Margarita Day!
Jenny & Heather...you can see this is were Heather's face hit Jenny's head OUCH!

We got a little too confident or maybe we had to many Lime-A-Ritas and decided to check out Quinton Heights. I don’t ever remember going there in high school and I now know why. The ambulance that was there when we pulled up should have been the hint! There was too many people, no one watches out where they are going, and the snow was hard as ice. What was I thinking?!?

We decided to all go together and didn't even make it down halfway before we ate it. We all went flying different directions. I landed hard on my ass sending sharp pains up my spine. My head snapped back so hard my hat went flying and we were all covered in snow. I checked out real fast and wasn't attempting another try. The girls went again and I so wish I had my camera that time. Again they only made it halfway before rolling down the hill with legs flying everywhere. I was glad everyone was ok, a little sore but we had a lot of fun.

Sledding down Jardine Hill

A much smoother ride

We hit up Cielito Lindo for some yummy Mexican food before heading to Heather’s parent’s house to play the Wii. We didn't even touch the Wii we just sat around, enjoying a few cocktails and having a fun girl’s night. It reminds me so much of college. The 3 of us were always together and I’m so excited as we start to settle down we are all back together again! I woke up this morning stiff as a board, barely able to move with a swollen neck. Guess I’m not as young as I use to be…..but it sure was a fun day with my girls!
